another busy week.

My cousin and her family were here this past week, so we were super busy.  This was our first time meeting her little son Cohen who was such a cutie and was so fun having the boys play together.  Overall they did really good playing together considering they are both the only child and under 2...which means they are still learning how to share...haha!  They were so cute together though.  And everyday there was something planned and we just had so much fun.  We went shopping at West Ed...we played at Millennium Place...we shopped at South Common...hung out and played in the backyard...went for walks...went for dinner with more cousins...and even went to the Valley Zoo.  And that doesn't even include all the stuff that the guys did everyday.  It was busy. 

We tried getting a couple of pictures of the boys one day...that was quite the production, but there were some cute ones thanks to help from Shey and Hilorie!  The boys just didn't want to sit.  And it helped to have a box of smarties nearby too!!  Haha!!

Now we're just trying to get back to normal.  Ryker has not been sleeping at all.  He wakes up for hours during the middle of the night and won't go back to sleep unless we sit in his room.  And trust me even then we sit there for 1 or 2 hours.  He's had a cold and he's teething so that might have something to do with it, but we're all tired around here.  He's keeping us on our toes though and has been getting into trouble lately.  In a matter of 5 minutes he had gotten into my moms plants twice and managed to play in the toilet.  Like I've said before...the dirtier the better.  He's starting to talk a little more and has quickly learned to say 'Mine!'  What a boy.  We are having so much fun....I just love him.

Anyway...I'm off to go read while Ryker plays outside.  We did the slip and slide again yesterday and this time I was a little more careful.  Kind of creepy though our neighbours said they were watching me play on it with Ryker (they were inside watching out the window)...is that a little strange?  umm...ya.  So we're off to play.
