so Monday night for family home evening we had a little lesson on the temple and we wanted to take Ryker to walk around the Temple grounds...except we were told that they are locked on Monday night. Since this was our only free night this week we made a little trip to the Temple. All week at bedtime we've been singing "I Love To See The Temple" to get ready and Ryker was really excited to go. He watched out the car window very patiently until he saw the Angel Moroni on top! What a fun experience to take our little family to the temple. This is where we were married...and sealed to Ryker. It holds a very special place in my heart. What could be better than being together as a family forever :)
While we were walking around I looked up to see Cody's sister, her husband and some of her kids. They were on a temple trip with their ward tonight! So fun!!
The night was just perfect :)

kim, this is so funny...
ever since we took the girls to the cardston temple in july, they talk about it ALL the time, and we've been planning on having a little family night at the temple, too! I have to make sure we go while the weather is still nice!

The Temple is very special to me as well. My hubby worked there throughout it's entire construction while he was apprenticing as a carpenter. And we were married there, too!
Aren't we lucky to have a Temple so close by?!

What an extremely special family home evening. What could be more special than the place that you were sealed to your beautiful little boy for all eternity!! Thats so fun that he waited to see the angel Moroni! I can jsut see him watching out the window not saying anything, but with his big eyes so focused and intent on seeing everyhing that passes so he doesnt miss it! How fun!
