we're not all about balloons...

seriously though...it seems like that's all i've been posting about this month.



balloons...balloons...balloons.



we went to the beach for a little picnic a couple of weeks ago, so i brought along balloons to take a few pictures.  i wasn't really thinking about how sunny it would be...and i'm sooooo out of practice with my camera, but they're still pretty cute :)





i wanted to capture a couple of pictures of my little 1 year old...he however didn't think he needed any pictures....haha!!  these boys seriously are ridiculously hard when it comes to the camera.  i have to tell ryker that i see a lady bug sitting on my camera so he'll look at me.  and well, maguire just wants to be running a moving.









i was kind of hoping that maguire would be a little more interested in the balloons, but i think i'll have to try something else.  maybe he's just had too many balloons this month and is ready for something new... :) can a kid get sick of something like that??!!



ryker managed to get in a couple of shots, but it was cut short since there was a little pushing and shoving going on.  that's right, maguire can stick up for himself now...haha!!  oh the sibling love!


as for things around here....

• i've done a little scrapbooking
• trying new recipes
• started a new book
• made a few new goals for myself
• did some major cleaning
• have been enjoying the sun
• playing outside
• and of course have been suffering through the swimming lessons.  i'll have to tell you about ryker's "time out" during swimming and how maguire tries to escape from his swimming class every time...but that's a whole other post.  haha!
