Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!!

I still can't believe he's 5!!!  When did that happen??  It feels like yesterday we brought this sweet little baby home.  I can't even begin to express the emotions of his birth...such a miracle and blessing in our lives.  He really truly is.  

As his mom I'm allowed to just gush over him...he's the cutest little thing ever!  I can't hug and kiss him enough in a day and I seriously miss him when he's away at school or where ever.  He loves to laugh and is always the first to try and cheer people up.  He pulls a great silly face ;) He loves to learn and is so smart.  I can already see the day when I can no longer help him with his homework!!  I love watching him play with his brother and dad...two of his favorite people!!  

I never knew how much I could possibly love someone until this boy came into my life.  He completely captured my heart in that first moment I saw him (well maybe it was actually the ultrasound we went to when I first saw him and just knew I loved him!).  I remember laughing with our birth mom about who would be the first to cry when Ryker was born...now I can't remember who each of us guessed.  I think she said Cody...and she was right!!  We both just completely loved every little thing about him.  I remember feeling like I would burst I couldn't handle how excited I was over him.  He has become my little buddy.  Always willing to help me and play with me...I just love him.

Cody and I worked all night setting up Ryker's birthday tree (I'll share pictures soon!) and getting everything ready for his little family birthday party...it's always so much fun!!

Happy birthday Ryker!!!  We love you sooooooo much!!!!
