hello little toes

There is nothing like little toes.  They are some of my favourite pictures to capture...and something I never want to forget about my children.  I just can't resist!  hehe!!

I went into my room last night...which has been a complete disaster lately...with intentions to get some layouts done of Maguire since he has hardly any compared to Ryker.  Two things happened.  I realized I was out of adhesive...AAAGGHHH!!  How did that happen??  So I quickly scrounged around in my drawers until I found something I could use....  And then as I started to look at pictures I stopped when I saw this one of Ryker's little 3 year old feet.

It was our second summer renting a cabin with my family and we had taken all the little kids down to the beach to take some pictures.  Ryker had perched himself on the edge of the steps so I quickly snapped this picture.  And now as I look at it I remember the many many events that took place on that vacation.  How one night Ryker and I stayed out on the beach longer than anyone else and we played in the water for hours.  And then there were countless moments playing and rolling around in the grass with cousins.  Or the many walks we took exploring the creek beside the cabin.  And who could forget the haircut I gave Ryker that went all wrong...the memories flooded in from one picture of Ryker's small feet.

This was the photo that inspired this layout.

And can I just say that these Heidi Swapp products are inspiring in and of themselves!  The colours are so fun and the products allow you to get down and dirty...creating and distressing to my hearts content! That color shine is so fun and the chipboard stickers have some serious stick!  I think I need to make another trip to Michaels for more stuff...and I've already stocked up on a bunch of it!!

I think I just need a creative night with my bestie...hint...hint...Tal!!
