today i had the opportunity to take pictures of this sweet little boy! he was only 2 weeks old and had the cutest facial expressions...i love him! there's just something so fun and special about capturing these new little babies...so little and innocent. he seemed so tiny and i was missing ryker being that little. when benjamin started crying at the end of the session his mom asked me if i still missed the newborn stage....hehe! oh ya...bring it on...i miss all of that. the crying, the cuddling, the teeny tiny diapers, the spit up, the sleepless nights, the exhaustion...really everything. there is nothing like those first few weeks and months when life completely changes and even though there is probably things i could complain about, there is just so much more to be thankful for. maybe i've just forgotten how hard those sleepless nights can be, but i would have cuddled and rocked ryker for however many hours he needed me to...seriously the things you do for love :) and don't think i have baby fever cause i don't, it was just so fun to remember the precious moments of having a newborn.
i have to share a few of my favorite pictures from the session after talking about sweet little benjamin...

and since i've eaten my share of chocolate easter eggs today...have a great easter! i love long weekends when we can hang out as a family....such a busy weekend for us with family and stuff...but hopefully it will be fun. i visited a lady i know yesterday and we were talking about how nice it is to be able to remember Christ this weekend and all that he has done for us. christmas already seems so long ago and somehow we've just quickly gone back to routine...so once again we can stop and think of what is really important.
